Ratched

The sometimes ominous and ominous score you hear here is from the movie Cape Fear (1991) with Robert de Niro, Nick Nolte, and Jessica Lang. Fits perfectly with Ratched's 1940s atmosphere.

Delicious series that I can best describe as a cocktail from One Flew over the Cuckoo Nest, Shutter Island, the Shining and a hint of Hitchcock. The cast and cinematography is to die for. The era can be called spot on. It breathes the 40s. All of this is beautifully accompanied by a score (s), whether or not borrowed. The storylines are good. Predictable from time to time, but all the ingredients for this (thriller, drama, mystery) are present, so the fun shouldn't spoil. A big 8.5
