In the third season, based on the seventh book in Lee Child's bestselling worldwide series, Persuader, Reacher (Alan Rytchson) must go undercover to rescue an informant held by a ghostly enemy from his past.
Production is currently taking place in Toronto.
Tee (pictured, left) will play Quinn, who is described as a physically imposing and intimidating character. He was a lieutenant colonel in the Army who investigated Reacher ten years ago when he was selling military secrets to enemy nations.
Johnny Berchtold (photo, second from left) and Roberto Montesinos (photo, second from right) have also joined the cast as regular actors, and Daniel David Stewart (photo, right) has a recurring role.
Berchtold plays Richard Beck, a sensitive and artistic student who lost his mother when he was young and is the only son of businessman Zachary Beck (Anthony Michael Hall). Five years ago he was the victim of a traumatic kidnapping that left him mutilated.
Montesinos plays Guillermo Villanueva, a DEA agent on the verge of retirement. He is the mentor and father figure of Officer Susan Duffy (Sonya Cassidy). He's chubby with bad knees and a good-natured sense of humor, but he loves Duffy and cares about her, even when they're tearing each other down all the time.
Stewart plays Steven Elliot, a dapper new DEA agent. He is a likeable boy with a fresh perspective, new to the profession and still learning.
As previously announced, Maria Sten will return as Frances Neagley.
Tee played the role of Dr. for eight seasons. Ethan Choi in Chicago Med and was also seen in this role as a guest actor in the other series from the Chicago franchise. He was recently seen in Prime Video's Expats opposite Nicole Kidman.
Berchtold was seen last year in Hulu's Tiny Beautiful Things and the Starz limited series Gaslit with Julia Roberts.
Montesino has mainly played guest roles in his career including 9-1-1: Lone Star, The Rookie and NCIS: Los Angeles.
Stewart had a recurring role as Nick Corrado in Apple TV's science fiction drama For All Mankind. He also had a regular role in Hulu's limited series Catch-22 with George Clooney and Hugh Laurie.
According to Prime Video, the second season of Reacher was the No. 1 title worldwide for both series and movies in 2023 during its premiere weekend (based on ratings). The series' global viewership grew 50% between seasons in the first three days after the second season's debut on December 15, 2023. Both seasons are now streaming on Prime Video.
Reacher is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television and Paramount Television Studios. The series is written by Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer.
In addition to Santora and Child, Ritchson is the executive producer of season three, along with Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, and David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell for Skydance. Carolyn Harris and Kenny Madrid helm the series for Skydance Television.
