Starring Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Elizabeth Bowen, Alice Wetterlund, Levi Fiehler and Judah Prehn, the series Resident Alien follows an alien (Tudyk) after he crash lands on Earth. His mission is to kill all humans, but that changes the more time he spends on the planet.
The series was renewed for a third season in July, but the number of episodes was reduced to eight in November.
Syfy revealed more about the series' return in the press release below:
“Syfy's Resident Alien returns for a third season on Wednesday, February 14 at 10 p.m. with a simulcast premiere on USA Network. Catch up on Peacock with season three episodes available the next day. Additionally, SyFy will air a season two marathon on Sunday, February 11 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
Based on the Dark Horse comics, SyFy's Resident Alien follows a crashed alien named Harry (Alan Tudyk) whose secret mission is to kill all humans. In season three, Harry vows to work with General McCallister (Linda Hamilton) to rid Earth of the Gray aliens - a task made even more difficult when he discovers that the Gray Hybrid Joseph (Enver Gjokaj) has taken a job in the city as the new Deputy.
Joseph isn't Harry's only obstacle - Harry struggles with balancing business and his personal life when he falls in love for the first time. Meanwhile, Asta (Sara Tomko) and D'arcy (Alice Wetterlund) move in together and struggle to discover their purpose.
Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones) guest stars this season along with returning guest stars Linda Hamilton (Claws), Gary Farmer (Reservation Dogs) and many more fan favorites.
From UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Amblin TV and Dark Horse Entertainment, Resident Alien was adapted for television by executive producer Chris Sheridan.
Dark Horse Entertainment's Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg, Amblin TV's Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank, Robert Duncan McNeill and Nastaran Dibai are also producing.
