Scream is een Amerikaanse horrorserie van de zender VH1 (voorheen MTV). De serie ging in première op 30 juni 2015.
Nadat online pesten resulteert in een brute moord, doet het schokkende gebruikte geweld denken aan moordpartijen uit het verleden. Deze moorden hebben velen geplaagd, anderen geïntrigeerd en misschien een nieuwe moordenaar geïnspireerd. Een groep vrienden, met twee oude vrienden die weer een band proberen op te bouwen, worden geliefden, verdachten, doelwitten en slachtoffers van een moordenaar die uit is op bloed.

As a fan of the Scream films I was very curious about the series and I also think the series is great! I really can't wait for the start of Season 2 !!!

Suspense, horror, thrill, mystery, murder. Oh wait, this is MTV so let's just stick to murder. As you may expect from this channel, it is best not to think about what you will see. A couple films 2 kissing girls in a car and places the video on the internet where it goes viral by MTV standards with the necessary comments. They say goodbye to each other and when the girl comes home she soon realizes that she is not alone in the house when she receives videos on her mobile phone in which she can be admired live. At first she suspects her boyfriend. You know, the one she said goodbye to 10 minutes earlier. However, nothing could be further from the truth when she invites him to her home by text message and a moment later his head ends up next to her in the hot tub. We are probably dealing here with a super-serial killer who not only sits in her house for the victim on duty, but also first sees the possibility of expertly beheading the boyfriend, who was logically elsewhere. Quite an achievement, but unfortunately not fascinating at any time.

totally disagree, watched 8 episodes in 1 weekend, 2 more to go. super exciting, story is well put together, and everything in line with the style of the films.

I just watched the 2 halloween episodes but I'm not so keen on S3. It's getting too predictive

very mediocre series that is actually worse than the movie on all fronts. cast actually only consists of b-actors and the characters are even bursting with stereotypes. terribly ordinary. especially that lesbian girl, who also dresses extremely cliche lesbian. besides that a few spoiled rich babes, standard hunks and even an asian to immediately take all social issues with them. too bad for words. storyline itself is okay in itself. unfortunately it is mostly much of the same. skinny six, nice for a rainy Sunday.

huge setback although my expectations were perhaps too high. I should of course have known that an mtv production would result in a series for teenagers. really all social issues are discussed (sexting, homosexuality, self-righteousness, social media, etc.), to cry out so socially correct and pedantic. in addition, the whole thing lacks tension and that is of course a real kill for this genre. it is mainly about the ins and outs of some teenagers with the occasional very predictable shock moment. you cannot really speak of the latter. it is mainly the music that makes it exciting. Add to that bland actors with standard American looks and qualities and you have a series to cry about ... so bad no, this really was a flop.

I find the series a lot less interesting than the movies, but it is certainly fun to watch.

Super series, first episode some income but once further it is very addictive! Definitely recommend!
