Never given a series a 10 before ... Not even L.OST & I already thought it was phenomenal. Sense8 will definitely get a very big 10 from me. What a story ... Genius. Beautiful characters, strongly portrayed by an awesome cast. I hope for many, many more seasons.

Sometimes you can look at the skills of other people with sourish jealousy. Skills that God has left with you for what they are for the sake of convenience. At least I do. For example, I would like to have that self-control skill that can prevent me from stuffing anything resembling chocolate directly into my mouth. Also that God's gift from a friend of mine, in which he and his man bun only have to casually walk into a room to let women slip off their chairs with an acute foam, I would like to get in every now and then during a night out. put. But yes… Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. In reality, at least, because anything is possible on TV. That is why Netflix has simply taken the exchange of skills as a starting point for the new Netflix Original, Sense8. How deliciously silly is that ?! Various people live on the various continents. Various people with various problems. They often do not seem to be able to solve these problems on their own. How annoying for those folks, I hear you think. Of course it is, but the Wachowskis (those of the Matrix and V for Vendetta) come up with a solution. In one way or another, the main characters become telepathically connected to each other, allowing them to make use of each other's knowledge and skills in dire situations. That will not be a handy game! Very handy, but also dangerous. A bad guy is after them and their new found super powers and will not rest until he has them all. WOEHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! <--- This is an evil laugh. Sense8 isn't exactly the crack of TV series. You need more than a shot or three before the addiction starts to force itself on you. If it comes to that at all. It took me at least five episodes to get the hang of it with some difficulty (and then there are people who dare to say that I am not a go-getter.). This is mainly due to the fact that quite a few different stories have to be told in the beginning, before the real plot can begin. A plot that is quite interesting in itself, but unfortunately never comes to an impressive climax. At the end of season 1 I was left on the couch with the feeling that it had to start all. In itself a nice cliffhanger for a possible second season, but not exactly a satisfactory end to a twelve-episode binge session. I also think something about the shape. Yes, once I'm busy finding things, get away. As far as I am concerned, the makers have not completely succeeded in forging the eight stories of the characters into one. Just like the intro, it sometimes seems like a kind of hotchpotch of stock videos with its own look and feel, so it never feels like one whole. A pity, because the concept certainly offered enough possibilities to make a really cool series out of this. Now it is a kind of sleeping giant, who only has to wake up in season two.

Sense 8 was more than a beautiful series. It felt like a rollercoaster of life. All moments were shared: the intensely happy, the thoughtful moments of life, the deepest fears and the sad. In the beginning it took some getting used to the 8 main characters. The different countries where they reside, the cultures are beautifully portrayed. To get through the first episodes, it is best to choose a character and dedicate yourself to it so as not to be overwhelmed by the many different storylines. After a while the love for the other characters also grows. Just as well, this series drags you into the different lives and moments. But what's great about this series is that there is such openness. An openness to sexual preferences, an openness to cultures, an openness of thoughts and way of life. For people who know how to taste this, this is definitely recommended. Moreover, the 'sensitive', the sensitive, gets so much attention. The lines of text mentioned in the series sometimes create such deep moments. The love between the characters, understanding is such a beautiful red line in this series and there is just as much room for the exciting and the mysterious. In seasons 1 and 2, this series has gotten a nice completion. Behind the 2 seasons you really have the feeling that the series has come to an end. Although it also tastes like more. The context of this series is rare. The storyline, the relationships, the connection are so beautifully presented in this series that you feel like 'connecting' with people ... really connecting. That you want to share, but also want to be made a part of life. The tolerance, the openness, the freedom ... no one is put aside for his way of life .... Beautiful things to keep in mind. Personally, I would definitely recommend you to watch this series and get carried away in life.
