The series' second season continues with Pat (Cox) and Terry (Kinnear) Phelps struggling to mend their broken family, mental illness, menopause and trauma, as their Connecticut home reveals more and more of its haunted past. In addition, the spouses must fight against their demons both internally and externally. And of course, Rosemary (Mira Sorvino) is back, lurking in the shadows.
The series returns on Friday, October 13 on the Starz app, all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms, and on the Lionsgate+ streaming platform in the UK and Ireland, and linearly at 9 p.m. (US time) in the US and Canada. New episodes air weekly on Fridays.
Season two also stars Gus Birney, Merrin Dungey, and Dylan Gage, with Judith Light, Allison Tolman, and Sherilyn Fenn in recurring roles.
Shining Vale is produced by Jeff Astrof of Other Shoe Productions, Sharon Horgan and Clelia Mountford of Merman, Aaron Kaplan and Melanie Frankel of Kapital Entertainment. Cox is also a producer.
The series was created by Astron and Horgan and is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Lionsgate Television in association with Other Shoe Productions, Merman and Kapital Entertainment.
