Shokuzai

Shokuzai is a series where I had to switch my film to. I've seen a lot of Japanese film and series, but I have to say that this one wasn't as high as I thought. Imaging and atmosphere were fine in itself, but watched closely where mother was the only one who, in my opinion, got away with it in the series. The acting consisted very much of symbolism and half dialogues. Many of the dialogues felt so unnatural that it became laughable. The stories were like that too. Nothing really exciting or surprising. I think you will also get that if you translate Japanese 1 on 1 to NL's. Started positively, but looked out with difficulty. Not all series that the Volkskrant recommends are always good, it turns out... Strictly for the enthusiast. 5 you from me!
