AMC's streaming service Shudder has ordered a fourth season of the Canadian anthology series Slasher. The new season will be available there, exclusively.
Shudder has ordered eight episodes of Slasher. The new season of the horror anthology series Slasher will receive the name Slasher: Flesh & Blood. In the United States, Australia and New-Zealand, the season will be available exclusively on Shudder. The previous three seasons were available at Netflix and Chiller.
David Cronenberg (Scales of Justice) will portray one of the lead characters int he fourth season, which will revolve around a wealthy family. They are going to stay on a remote island as part of a reunion. Old wounds and competitivity ensue once the family realises that a masked murderer arrived on the island, with the intention of killing them one by one. A couple of actors from the previous seasons will return. They will portray new characters. Next to that, Rachael Crawford (Heartland), Jeananne Goosen (The Walking Dead), Sydney Meyer (Departure) and Alex Ozerov (The Americans) will also join the cast.
