Snowpiercer already renewed with third season

TNT has renewed Snowpiercer with its third season. This has all happened even before the second season has premiered. A couple of days from now, the second season of Snowpiercer will premiere. The first season premiere was the best-watched episode at TNT, which meant it surpassed The Alienist. The series is watched well and the network is expecting high ratings for the second season. This is the reason why TNT has decided to give the series an early renewal for its third season.

Snowpiercer takes place seven years after the world is fully frozen due to an ecological catastrophe. The series revolves around the remaining humans, who try to survive by spending their lives in a massive train that is constantly circling on Earth. Snowpiercer is based on the movie and graphic novel with the same name.
