Spartacusrun is a Belgium competition-program which aired on VTM. The series premiered in 2022.
A brand new program in which two dozen BVs will dive into the mud in the Averbood fields and go to extremes to complete the famous Spartacus Run course with 10 spectacular obstacles in the sharpest possible time. In each episode, two candidates, who are more or less active in the same sector, complete the arduous course. Qmusic presenter Maarten Vancoillie, model and girlfriend of Jens Dendoncker Lauren Versnick, ex-cyclist Francesco Planckaert, influencer Average Rob and presenter Laura Tesoro struggle through the mud under barbed wire, brave a steep gigantic ramp and clamber into a meter-high net. . The aim is, of course, to do all of this as quickly as possible. The six participants who set the best time at the end of the stage compete against each other in the semi-finals and the final in the final week.
