Premiere date and trailer for Paramount+'s Special Ops: Lioness by Taylor Sheridan

Paramount+ has unveiled the first trailer for Taylor Sheridan's Special Ops: Lioness and announced a premiere date for the spy thriller. Special Ops: Lioness, starring Zoe Saldaña (From Scratch), Laysla De Oliveira (Locke & Key), Michael Kelly (Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan), Morgan Freeman (Solos) and Nicole Kidman (The Undoing), is inspired by a real American military program. It follows the life of Joe (Saldaña) as she tries to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the CIA's spear in the war on terror.

The Lioness Program, led by Kaitlyn Meade (Kidman) and Donald Westfield (Kelly), recruits an aggressive Marine Raider named Cruz (De Oliveira) to work undercover with Joe among the powers of state terror in the CIA's efforts to thwart the next 9/11.

The series will premiere on Sunday, July 23.



The series also stars Dave Annable (Walker), Jill Wagner (Teen Wolf), LaMonica Garrett (1883), James Jordan (Yellowstone (2018)), Austin Hébert (Unbelievable), Jonah Wharton (The Rookie), Stephanie Nur (1883 ) and Hannah Love Lanier.

The series is produced by Sheridan, David C. Glasser, Saldaña, Kidman, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Jill Wagner, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Malone and John Hillcoat. Special Ops: Lioness is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios for Paramount+.
