Nice diverse cast! Is this still possible nowadays? I'm curious whether this will have as much impact as the first season, which was actually a miniseries. Of course it depends on the story, but the novelty has worn off, so the story has to fit very well.

It is and remains a Korean series so I didn't expect anything other than such a cast. Vgm it was not a miniseries but intended as a drama series.

Yes that's right. It's a Korean series and you know what you get, a series with only Koreans. That woke obligation of all colors plus the rainbow only applies in the West. But how is it possible that these series are entitled to Western awards, such as Emmys? That always makes me laugh. Hwang Dong-hyuk, the creator and creator of the series, has long stated that he has no plans or ideas for a sequel. Only after insistence and the enormous success of the series did he decide to come up with a second season.

There has been a lot of fuss about the first season. To be honest, I didn't think it was anything special. I will watch the first episode of the second season, but that episode has to grab me immediately otherwise I will leave it as it is.
