“I’m so pleased to be returning to Suspect to be able to dig deeper into the character of Dr Susannah Newman,” said Duff. “Expect lots of twists, turns and revelations alongside more questions to be answered. I can’t wait for viewers to see what we’ve done with the second series.”
Suspects comes from Professor T (UK) and Before We Die (UK) producer Eagle Eye Drama and is written by Joy Wilkinson (Lockwood & Co.) and David Allison (Marcella). The series is destined for Britain's Channel 4, for which outgoing acquisitions head Nick Lee bought it, and is co-produced by BritBox International for the US and Canada. The eight-part drama will be distributed internationally by Fremantle and will air in 2024.
