The fourth season, starring Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme, kicks off Thursday, July 20 at 10 p.m.
Heffernan's Fire Chief Terry McConky and Lemme's Captain Eddie Penisi return to guide their eclectic crew, Marcus Henderson (Granny), Gabriel Hogan (Ike) and Hassie Harrison (Lucy) through new emergencies, a barracks renovation and welcoming new recruit Mickleberry, played by Chris Avila, to lead.
“We are excited to bring Tacoma FD fans thirteen new episodes starting Thursday, July 20,” said Lemme.
Tacoma FD continues to get high ratings. It is the second most watched series on truTV each year, with the third season reaching 11.8M in P2+ (persons aged two or older).
The comedy series is set in a fire station in one of America's rainiest cities, where firefighters amuse themselves with creative contests, friendly rivalries between first responders and bizarre emergency calls.
Celebrity cast members this season include Tony Danza (Who's the Boss?) as the Guardian Angel, David Arquette (Cougar Town) as Teddy Dickosi, Captain Penisi's rival for the Chief's endorsement, and more including M.C. Gainey (Outcast), Timothy V. Murphy (Sons of Anarchy), Amin Joseph (Snowfall), and Dexter Loomis.
Returning cast members Joey Pantoliano, Paul Soter, Jim Rash, Jon Rudnitsky, Maria Russell and Jamie Kaler also appear in the new season.
Heffernan added, "I've been working hard to get into bathing suit shape for the summer and we look forward to seeing everyone for hot dogs and beers at Lemme's place."
Heffernan and Lemme are producing alongside David Miner and Greg Walter of 3 Arts Entertainment and Inman Young and Savey Cathey of A24 Studios.
