The Last Man on Earth). He is hired to coach a professional football team in England. For the second season, Sarah Niles (
Catastrophe) joins the cast of the American comedy series. On the 23rd of July, the second season will premiere on Apple TV+. Even though the second season hasn't even been released yet, the series has already been renewed with its third season.
During the most recent Critics' Choice Television Awards,
Ted Lasso won in all the categories
in which it received a nomination, which includes Best Comedy series.
Ted Lasso did fairly well at other award shows as well. The comedy series also won awards at the
Screen Actors Guild Awards,
the Writers Guild Awards and
the Golden Globes.
