Terug naar Oosterdonk is a Flemish drama series which first aired in 1997 on Canvas.
The story begins on the funeral of Louis, the father of announcer Brecht Bosmans. Brecht discovers a note in which his father asks to invite Jos Teugels on his funeral. Teugels was an old inhabitant of the city of Oosterdonk from whom they haven't heard in years. Brecht brings some old inhabitants of Oosterdonk together and starts reminiscing. After a while they begin to talk about the local madman, Pietje de Leugenaar (Dirk Roofthooft) who said he was in magical contact with nature.
