Democracy collapses in teaser for The Boys season four

Fans of The Boys are being treated to a teaser for season four.
The look at the upcoming season of the Prime Video series was unveiled on Saturday at the CCXP comic event in São Paulo, Brazil. Season four will be released in 2024, but Amazon has not yet announced an exact release date.

The Boys

In season four, the world is on the edge of the abyss. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscular thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, who has only months to live, has lost both Becca's son and his job as leader of The Boys. The rest of the team has had enough of his lies. Season four will introduce Susan Heyward (Orange Is the New Black), Valorie Curry (The Following) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead).

The series is based on the New York Times bestselling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who are also executive producers, and developed by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke. According to showrunner Eric Kripke, The Boys goes further in season 4 than it has ever gone before. In response to the trailer, Kripke said on Twitter that he had been working on a scene that day that he can't believe the series got away with. He calls it “the most crazy thing ever done.”
