Clayton Cardenas (Mayans MC (2018)) cast in season three of The Cleaning Lady (US)

After five successful seasons on FX's Mayans MC (2018), Clayton Cardenas has set up his next project. Based on the hit original Argentinian series, The Cleaning Lady (US) follows Thony De La Rosa, a super-smart Cambodian doctor who comes to the US for medical treatment to save her ailing son. But when the system fails and tries to push her down, Thony refuses to be marginalized and takes matters into her own hands.

Forced to take unconventional measures to protect her family and save those she loves, Thony crosses the moral line as she becomes further enmeshed in the criminal underbelly of Las Vegas.



Cardenas (pictured) has joined the cast for season three in the role of Dante, Ramona's (Kate del Castillo) trusted lieutenant who is intense and authoritative with a dangerous edge. Dante is only concerned with protecting the company and becomes increasingly irritated by Thony (Élodie Yung), who constantly undermines their work.

Del Castillo recently starred in the series alongside Santiago Cabrera, who plays her brother Jorge Sanchez.

The series also stars Adan Canto, Martha Millan, Sebastien & Valentino LaSalle, Sean Lew, Faith Bryant and Eva De Dominic.

Miranda Kwok developed the series and serves as co-showrunner with executive producer Jeannine Renshaw. Rose Marie Vega and Paola Suarez also executive produce. Shay Mitchell and David Dean Portelli are executive advisors.

Cardenas is best known for his role as Angel Reyes in FX's motorcycle drama Mayans MC (2018), which recently wrapped its final season. He previously played Diego Castillo in the Emmy-winning series American Crime and has appeared in series such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Snowfall, FBI and S.W.A.T. (2017).

In addition to acting, Cardenas is a spoken-word poet and painter whose large-canvas work has attracted the attention of collectors around the world.
