Determined to free his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to play the gangsters at their own game. But as he is drawn into the world of crime, he begins to get a taste for it.

The series is set in the world of the film The Gentlemen, with an all-new cast, a combination of Hollywood talent and British film and TV legends. The series offers depth in this criminal world and a new story to get stuck into.

Playing in The Gentlemen:

THEO JAMES as EDDIE HORNIMAN 'The Duke'

Eddie is the second son of the Duke of Halstead and never expected to inherit anything. So he creates a life for himself, excelling at Sandhurst and reaching the rank of captain in the British Army. But when his father suddenly dies and stipulates in his will that his title and the associated 15,000 hectares of land go to his second rather than his first-born son, Eddie's life takes a fundamental turn. It's a role he never wanted and perhaps thought wasn't for him, but gradually Eddie feels more and more comfortable in his father's shoes. As Eddie faces the unexpected criminal responsibilities that come with owning this English estate, his character will be tested like never before.

KAYA SCODELARIO as SUSIE GLASS 'The Boss'

Susie, who is effortlessly stylish and sardonic and has inherited some of Bobby Glass's steely character, oversees the criminal organization on behalf of her father. Susie is something of a chameleon, from inner-city boxing gyms to high-status galas, there are few places she doesn't fit in seamlessly. Susie uses a combination of sophistication and sophistication to solve the usual problems that arise when running Bobby's business, but when Eddie starts making trouble for her early on, her patience quickly begins to wear thin. Susie slowly begins to see why her father is so interested in this enterprising young man as her and Eddie's relationship develops throughout the series. But as the Glass empire comes under increasing pressure, it becomes clear to Susie where her ultimate priorities lie.

DANIEL INGS as FREDDY HORNIMAN 'The Liability'

Freddy always knew he was the heir to the Halstead estate, which is why he never succeeded in anything. His life so far has been an insignificant stream of parties, drug use and embarrassing business setbacks. He is the Anti-Midas, everything he touches turns to dust and debt. When he discovers that his inheritance has been passed on to his younger brother, Freddy cracks a crack that no amount of cocaine can fill. Freddy no longer has a goal and relies even more on his impulsiveness and reactivity. But when the criminal elements in Halstead begin to infiltrate the Hornimans' lives, a creative spark begins to flicker in Freddy: this could be his future.

VINNIE JONES as GEOFF SEACOMBE 'The Gamekeeper'

Geoff is the gamekeeper of Halstead Manor. He knows every inch of the estate and cares deeply about the land and the different animals that roam it. Geoff is stoic, steadfast and unwaveringly loyal to the Hornimans. He is proud that he knows exactly his place within the social structure and he always respects the boundary between family and staff. Geoff harbors a quiet sadness over a secret he has kept for years, but as Eddie learns to deal with the illegal activities on the Halstead property, Geoff makes himself available as an ever-present rock for the new Duke. There is always a wealth of wise advice and sloe gin in the gamekeeper's cottage.

GIANCARLO ESPOSITO as UNCLE STAN ' The American'

The extravagantly wealthy American Stanley Johnston alias Uncle Stan is not an archetypal dealer and distributor of methamphetamine. Uncle Stan is obsessed with the history, iconography and architecture of the British aristocracy. He employs a manservant, hangs out with a small European royal family and practically lives in London's most exclusive gentlemen's club. Stan's fascination with all things chic may explain his keen interest in the new Duke of Halstead, but some suspect that Stan's attack could be twofold: his real goal is to secure Bobby Glass's significant market share ."
