Season Two of The Irrational Delayed One Week by NBC

NBC has moved the start date of season two of The Irrational.
The original date of October 1 has been moved up one week to Tuesday, October 8, due to the recently scheduled vice presidential debate between Governor Tim Walz (Democrat) and Senator J.D. Vance (Republican), hosted by CBS News.

The season two premiere episode will air at 10:00 p.m. (US time) on October 8 on NBC, preceded by a two-hour edition of The Voice (US), which begins at 8:00 p.m. (US time).

Written by Arika Lisanne Mittman and starring Jesse L. Martin, The Irrational is based on Dan Ariely’s best-selling novel Predictably Irrational.

The series follows world-renowned behavioral science professor Alec Mercer (Martin) as he lends his unique expertise to high-stakes cases and mysteries. His insight and unconventional approach to understanding human behavior leads him to work with a variety of clients, ranging from the FBI to everyday people caught in perplexing situations and desperate for answers. With the help of his trusted team and social science experiments, Alec solves crimes and uncovers the truth to answer intriguing and irrational questions.

The cast also includes Maahra Hill, Travina Springer, Molly Kunz and Arash DeMaxi.

Arika Lisanne Mittman, Mark Goffman, Sam Baum, David Frankel and Robert Wolfe serve as directors. The Irrational is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
