“Today, the beloved and celebrated Prime Video series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel revealed the official teaser trailer, poster and launch date for the fifth and final season of the groundbreaking series, which has delighted fans for the past six years. The fifth season begins Friday April 14, 2023 starts with three episodes and new episodes every week.
After burning bridges and dropping off the tour, Midge Maisel lasted through the fourth season, rebuilding her career and reputation. The final moments of the season climaxed as Midge left Carnegie Hall ready to weather any storm. After a revelation in front of the snowy billboard of The Gordon Ford Show, Midge is ready to "Move Forward" and fight for her rise to stardom, equipped with her quick wit and sharp tongue, and nothing else to lose.
In the fifth and final season, Midge is closer than ever to the success she dreamed of, only to discover that closer than ever is so far away.
Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino have known the "final footage" and "final moment" of the series since the season four finale last year.
