Julianna Margulies will not appear in the fourth season of The Morning Show

Laura Peterson (Margulies) is out of Bradley Jackson's (Reese Witherspoon) life for good on The Morning Show.

Julianna Margulies, who played a veteran journalist who fell hard for Reese Witherspoon's Bradley, will not return for season four of the Apple TV drama.

Margulies (pictured) first joined the drama in season two as a former war correspondent who later hosted UBA 365. She and Bradley began a romantic relationship that soured when Bradley covered up her brother's involvement in the Jan. 6 attacks on the Capitol.

It was recently revealed that Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard is joining the series for a major role in season four. She will play Celine Dumont, a clever operator from a famous European family.

Season three of The Morning Show once again left the fate of UBA up in the air after Alex (Jennifer Aniston) managed to take out Paul Marks (Jon Hamm) by blocking the sale of UBA to his tech company Hyperion. But now it appears that UBA will merge with another media company to keep the network afloat, which could mean layoffs and restructuring are coming in season four.
