HBO Max comes with The Batman spin-off series The Penguin

After the success of director Matt Reeves' movie The Batman, HBO Max has the idea to make spin-offs of several characters. The Penguin is the first to come.
Colin Farrell (True Detective) will reprise his role as Oswald Cobblepot, better known as The Penguin. He has played the character once before in the hit movie The Batman. This time, The Penguin himself takes center stage in his own spin-off series.

For the people who have seen The Batman, it will only be the tip of the iceberg of what you have seen from The Penguin. Colin Farrell said this at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala: "All I thought was that I was nowhere near discovering the character as what I wanted. There has been an extraordinary job done by makeup artists Mike Marino, Mike Fontaine and his team and I thought this was the tip of the iceberg sorry for the pun for the six or seven scenes we were only able to do during the movie I was grateful to them for the opportunity to do it character, but I wanted more."

The Penguin has previously been portrayed in the Gotham series. This rendition was brilliantly performed by Robin Lord Taylor. It's up to Colin Farrell (pictured as The Penguin) to surpass this. In addition to Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti has been cast as Sofia Falcone. Other cast members will be announced at a later date.

Colin Farrell's transformation as The Penguin is a time-consuming process. During each shooting day, he first has to put on make-up for about four hours. The end result is great, because it is almost unrecognizable in the photo above. We wish him flawless recording days.

Excellent cast, both Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti. This will probably be the first time that I will see Cristin Milioti in a non-comedic role, but she can undoubtedly do that.

Bad idea! Those endless expansions of superheroes, series or films may gradually come to an end. They don't bring much, especially cash register ringing and silly stories.
