However, when a body is discovered at Nantucket Harbor just hours before the ceremony, everyone at the wedding is suddenly a suspect. It's up to Police Chief Ed Kapenash to find out what happened, and as secrets bubble to the surface, an investigation emerges that seems straight out of one of Greer's books.
This limited series, which is an adaptation of the bestseller by American writer Elin Hilderbrand, can be seen on Netflix from Thursday, September 5 and has a quite impressive cast including Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber and Dakota Fanning.
The Perfect Couple will consist of six episodes, all of which will be directed by Susanne Bier, known for films such as Bird Box. Bier will also serve as executive producer, along with showrunner Jenna Lamia.
None other than Stranger Things director Shawn Levy is also involved as a producer. In addition to Kidman starring, the rest of the cast is also quite impressive. There are also roles for Meghann Fahy, Eve Hewson, Ishaan Khatter, Billy Howle and Jack Reynor, among others.
