A recurring cast member on The Rookie has been given regular cast member status for season six.
Viewers will see more of Lisseth Chavez and her character Celina Juarez during the upcoming season on ABC.
The Rookie, starring Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O'Neil, Eric Winter, Mekia Cox, Shawn Ashmore and Tru Valentino, follows John Nolan (Fillion), who joins the LAPD as the oldest rookie from the police department. During the series he rose from rookie to training officer.
Officer Celina Juarez is the newest rookie at the LAPD and has joined the academy to solve her sister's murder. Chavez (photo) frequently returned in the fifth season of the ABC series and appeared in nineteen episodes.
The ABC series, which recently filmed its 100th episode, returns with new episodes on Tuesday, February 20.
