The Sinner

The Sinner is an American crime series broadcast by USA Original Network. Three seasons have been released so far, each consisting of 8 episodes of 45 minutes each. Each season has its own story so you always look at other actors and actresses with the exception of the main character, detective Harry Ambrose. The name The Sinner is derived from the English translation of the title of the book Die Sünderin by the German crime author Petra Hammesfahr. The German books on which the series is based make the series a bit un-American. In the first season, Jessica Biel played the lead while now in charge of production. Although occasionally fierce scenes occur, the strength of the series lies mainly in the psychological depth and the intelligent construction of the plot. This demands a lot from the actors. Bill Pullman plays Harry Ambrose and he does it with gusto. Ambrose is a very good cop and has a few personal issues that make him very interesting as a character. In season 2, the then 14-year-old Elisha Henig plays a beautiful role and the same can be said of the actress Carrie Coon. The Sinner is a good crime series with intriguing stories, beautifully filmed and framed with beautiful music as well.

We thought it was a great series that will keep you fascinated from start to finish. The outcome is very surprising!
