Trailer of The Witcher season three (part two) released by Netflix

Netflix has released the official trailer for the second part of The Witcher season three, for the final episodes starring Henry Cavill.
The trailer gives us an action-packed look at Henry Cavill in his last three episodes as Geralt of Rivia. As previously reported, Cavill will not be returning for The Witcher's fourth season. His role has been recast with Liam Hemsworth.

The Witcher

In the final episodes of season three, as the continent's monarchs, mages and beasts vie to capture Ciri (Freya Allen), Geralt (Cavill) takes her into hiding, determined to protect his newly reunited family from those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri's magical training, Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to discover more about the girl's untapped powers. Instead, they find themselves in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic and betrayal. They must fight back, risk everything - or risk losing each other forever.

In the trailer, Geralt tells Ciri and Yennefer, “We didn’t come this far just to abandon each other.” Jaskier confirms that Geralt will defend Ciri at all costs, saying “The war brewing outside is nothing compared to what Geralt will do to protect his daughter.” In the final scene, we see Cavill’s Geralt face down in the water, with his voiceover saying “There’s no coming back from this.”

Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is showrunner and executive producer. The Witcher is also produced by Steve Gaub, Matt O'Toole, Mike Ostrowski, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Platige Films (Tomek Baginski and Jarek Sawko), and Hivemind Content (Jason Brown and Sean Daniel).
