Amazon greenlights four pilots

Streaming giant Amazon announced they’ll turn four of their pilots into series, namely ‘The After’, ‘Bosch’, ‘Mozart in the Jungle’ and ‘Transparent’. This is a considerable higher number compared to last year, when they only green-lighted two series; ‘Alpha House’ and ‘Betas’. Amazon has decided to renew ‘Alpha House’ with a second season, but ‘Betas’ has sadly been cancelled.

The After’ is an apocalyptic thriller. The series focuses on eight strangers, brought together under mysterious circumstances, who have to survive in a violent world.

‘Bosch’ is a police series based on the Harry Bosch books by Michael Connely. It focuses on a detective working in the homicide department of Los Angeles.

‘Mozart’ is based on the memoir ‘Mozart in the Jungle’, written by Blair Tindall. It tells a tale of sex, drugs and classical music and shows the exciting things happening backstage.

‘Transparent’ is all about Mort and his three children. One day Mort decides to tell them his secret: he’s been a transsexual for years.
