In The Blacklist, James Spader can be seen as the fugitive ex-agent Raymond "Red" Reddington, who mysteriously surrenders with an offer to help the FBI arrest some of the best criminals in the country. His only condition is that he should work with FBI agent Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone), leading to a wonderful series of events that slowly reveal his true motives.
The American channel NBC has already renewed The Blacklist with an eighth season. James Spader will also remain part of the cast in that season, that has already been confirmed.
