The American network The CW has renewed the series The Carrie Diaries and Nikita. To newcomer The Carrie Diaries it will be the second season, while it will already be the fourth season for Nikita.
The fourth season for Nikita will also probably be the last season. It will not get a full season, the season will consist of about approximately six episodes. Craig Silverstein, Executive Producer for Nikita, tweeted it will get a great ending. Another reason to think it will be the last season for Nikita.
There is no word yet on how many episodes the second season of The Carrie Diaries' will get.
