'The Night Shift' renewed

NBC has renewed 'The Night Shift' for a second season. Executive producer Gabe Sachs sent the following tweet yesterday: “THE 'NIGHT SHIFT' HAS JUST BEEN PICKED UP FOR SEASON 2!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I JUST GOT THE CALL!!!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!!”

'The Night Shift' follows the quirky but devoted staff of San Antonio Memorial Hospital who works in the night shift. The cast members are; Eoin Macken, Jill Flint, Ken Leung, Brendan Fehr, Daniella Alonso, Robert Bailey Jr., Jeananne Goossen. J.R. Lemon and Freddy Rodriguez.

With the most watched show of NBC's ‘America's Got Talent’ as lead-in ‘The Night Shift’ is not doing bad with an average of 6.68 million viewers.
