Anyone who comes to take a look here every now and then, it cannot have escaped the fact that I look at just about everything that is loose and stuck. German, American, French, Italian, English, if it moves and there is something of a storyline in it, I will watch it and that certainly applies to beautiful things from Scandinavian soil. There is something about the language and atmosphere of series from the North that I simply have no resistance against. After a lot of Danish and Swedish show food, this time it was the Norwegian Det Tredje Øyet's turn. You have to give those Norwegians some attention now and then, otherwise they will get restless and we should not want that. Children who disappear without a trace always do well when it comes to brainstorming about a topic for a new series. For example, the story of the missing son in The Missing crawled right under your skin and Sarah Lund's quest for The Killing has certainly done no harm. “Whatever happens”, the makers of Det Tredje Øyet must have thought, “a child is going to disappear anyway. Anyway". And so it happened. This time it is Christina who suddenly disappears from the face of the earth and we follow father Viggo, who has not given up hope of a reunion even five years after the disappearance. As a detective with the Oslo police, he has all possible means at his disposal, but it is only when he starts having visions due to insomnia that the pieces of the puzzle slowly seem to fall into place. Ooooooohhhh, how mysterious does that sound ?! The Third Eye, as they call it in England, lacks a bit of that grim raw vibe we know so well from series like The Bridge, The Killing and even Borgen. It is all a bit lighter and fresher and you would hardly be surprised if RTL4 included it in the late evening programming. They don't, but just to give you an idea. Does it still seem in the first episodes that you are dealing with a kind of CSI Norske, where every episode a random crime has to be solved, as the season progresses, the missing of Viggo's daughter becomes more important and you move a little more to the edge of your seat. Figuratively speaking then, because of course you just lie motionless on the couch with a bag of M & M's on your stomach. A bag of M & M's with peanuts, because people who eat those improved Smarties can all be taken anything but seriously. www.gumstarr.com

Does anyone know where I can get these from? It is very important that I see this. Help a brother out. (The latter is English for: "Help out a brother")
