Today NBC announced their 2013-2014 schedule. A schedule for fall season and a schedule for mid-season.
Fall Season
The smallest network of the big five, The CW, has now also announced its schedule and things will be moved around a lot. Old series will be used as lead-in for new series and The CW will expand The Vampire Diaries success on Tuesdays.
On Monday the trusted Hart of Dixie will kick off the evening. Beauty and the Beast will follow and will thereby be cut loose from The Vampire Diaries.
The Originals will expand The Vampire Diaries success on Tuesdays. Supernatural will move to a day earlier in the week and will follow The Originals.
Arrow and the Vampire Diaries will respectively air on Wednesday and Thursday and will serve as lead-in for The Tomorrow People and Reign.
The Carrie Diaries, of which its renewal was a big surprise, moves to Friday.
The CW will air reruns and local programming on Saturday and Sunday.

Mid Season
During mid season Nikita will probably return on Fridays with six episodes of its fourth and last season. Also, Star-Crossed and The 100 will be introduced.
Will The CW survive with the brutal violence of the other major channels? Can The Originals survive without being paired with The Vampire Diaries? What would you change in this schedule?
