A&E Drama ‘Those Who Kill’ pulled from schedule

After just two episodes A&E has pulled the Chloe Sevigny’s drama series ‘Those Who Kill’ from there Monday night schedule.
‘Those Who Kill’ is based on the Danish TV crime series ‘Den som dræber’, inspired by bestselling author Elsebeth Egholm. ‘Those Who Kill’ stars Chloë Sevigny as Catherine Jensen, a brilliant police detective who tracks down serial killers. Jensen is also investigating her stepfather, who may be a serial killer, while searching for her missing brother. She enlists the help of Thomas Schaffer (James D’Arcy), a forensic psychiatrist, to help her understand the minds of serial killers, all the while luring Schaffer into her own personal investigation. Both characters possess a deep psychological understanding that connects them to the killers' victims and to the killers themselves.

‘Those Who Kill’ had a debut of 1.4 million viewers. ‘Bates Motel’ first episode of the second season drew more than 3 million viewers. Week two of ‘Those Who Kill’ only had 830,000 viewers.

Bates Motel’ will fill the empty slot on Monday at 10pm and at 9pm there will be a rerun of ‘Bates Motel’.

A&E has not yet canceled ‘Those Who Kill’ despite of the poor ratings. It certainly doesn’t look good for ‘Those Who Kill’ but A&E has reported that they believe in the show and they want to find a new timeslot where they will have more viewers. The day and time will be determined later. There are eight episodes left.
