Premiere date and first photos for Starz's Three Women released

The limited drama Three Women, originally ordered by Showtime but later picked up by Starz, is coming to the network soon.

The series is based on the New York Times bestseller of the same name by Lisa Taddeo and follows three women who are ready to change their lives.



Lina (Betty Gilpin) is a suburban Indiana housewife who, after a ten-year, passionless marriage, begins a life-changing affair. Sloane (DeWanda Wise) is a glamorous entrepreneur in the Northeast and is in a committed open marriage to Richard (Blair Underwood) until two sexy new strangers threaten their love story.

Maggie (Gabrielle Creevy), a college student in North Dakota, weathers a storm after accusing her married English teacher of an inappropriate relationship. Gia (Shailene Woodley), a writer mourning the loss of her family, convinces each of these three spectacularly "ordinary" women to tell her their stories, and her relationships with them forever change the course of her life.

Jason Ralph and John Patrick Amedori also star.

Three Women premieres Friday, September 13 at midnight on the streamer's app and linearly at 10pm in the US.

Laura Eason is the showrunner of the series and Three Women author Taddeo is the creator and executive producer. Kathy Ciric and Emmy Rossum also serve as executive producers.
