Second season of Tokyo Vice will soon be available on (HBO) Max

The Max Original series Tokyo Vice will soon return to HBO Max. The ten-part second season will start with two episodes, followed by one new episode per week.

Tokyo Vice is loosely inspired by American journalist Jake Adelstein and his personal stories from when he lived in Japan and wrote about the Tokyo Metropolitan Police.

In the second season of the series, filmed on location in Tokyo, Adelstein (Ansel Elgort) realizes that his life, and the lives of those close to him, are in great danger.

Ansel Elgort, Ken Watanabe, Rinko Kikuchi, Rachel Keller, Show Kasamatsu, Ayumi Ito, Yosuke Kubozuka and Miki Maya play the leading roles in the crime series, which can be seen again from Thursday, February 8.

JT Rogers and Emmy winner Alan Poul are executive producers alongside Alex Boden, Josef Kubota Wladyka, Brad Caleb Kane, Adam Stein, Ken Watanabe, Emmy winner Emily Gerson Saines, Ansel Elgort, Jake Adelstein, Kayo Washio, Destin Daniel Cretton, Academy Award winner John Lesher and four-time Academy Award nominee and Emmy winner Michael Mann. The series comes from FIFTH SEASON and WOWOW, Japan's premium pay-TV channel.
