ABC orders more ‘Goldbergs’ and ‘Trophy Wife’

While it's not the full-season order fans of ABC's new Tuesday comedy lineup are hoping for, the network has shown its faith in its young sitcoms by ordering additional scripts. The network has ordered three additional scripts of both 'The Goldbergs' and 'Trophy Wife'. It doesn’t guarantee an episodic pickup.

Tuesday’s other new ABC series, the British remake 'Lucky 7', wasn’t so lucky in the end, and was cancelled after only two episodes. Other new entries, like Back in the Game and Super Fun Night, as well as limited series Betrayal and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland are awaiting decisions on either extra scripts, a cancellation or a pick up.
