Twenty Thousand Streets Under The Sky

Twenty Thousand Streets Under The Sky is a British mini series which aired on BBC Four. The series premiered on April 19, 2005.

Central location is The Midnight Bell, a pub near Euston Road. We follow three different characters on their difficult search for love: bartender Bob, who is in love with penniless streetwalker Jenny; his colleague Ella, who is torn between her feelings for an older, wealthy man and her secret desire for Bob; and Jenny, who is forced by circumstances to earn her money on the street and finds it increasingly difficult to keep her head above water.
