Twin is a Norwegian television series that aired in Norway in 2019. The BBC bought the series and broadcast it last April. Adam one half of the twins is married to Ingrid and together they have a hotel on the Lofoten, an archipelago in Northern Norway. When he dies under suspicious circumstances, Ingrid persuades his identical twin brother Erik to take Adam's place. I thought it was a strong series in which Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane from Game of Thrones) and Rebecca Nystabakk play the leading roles. I can't say too much about it because then I betray the intriguing story, which has a satisfying ending and could therefore close the series perfectly. But there are a few twists in the story that could very well be used in a second season. Creator of the series Kristoffer Metcalfe says about this: “I see season 1 as the first act of a bigger story. But let's see first how the audience reacts. ” The reaction of the public is okay if you read the comments, but the situation in the world with the pandemic and its consequences for the film industry do not allow decisions to be made about a sequel. The Lofoten are famous for their natural beauty and the director has made good use of it. Beautiful pictures.

What a beautiful series and what a great role by Kristofer Hivju. I think you can safely say that Hivju is certainly one of the best actors in the world. The beautiful surroundings of the Lofoten and the good plot certainly provide about 6 hours of fun. Highly recommended in my opinion.
