With production on Twisted Metal season two in full swing, the series has added three actors in recurring roles. Michael James Shaw, Saylor Bell Curda and Lisa Gilroy join leads Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz, seen on set in the photo below.
The additional cast for the new season includes returning leads Joe Seanoa and Will Arnett and newly added actors Anthony Carrigan, Richard de Klerk, Patty Guggenheim and Tiana Okoye.
The television series is based on the classic PlayStation game series. The first season follows a brash outsider (Mackie) who gets a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
With the help of a ruthless axe-wielding car thief (Beatriz), he faces ferocious looters in destructive vehicles and other dangers on the open road, including a deranged clown (Senoa/Arnett) driving an all-too-familiar ice cream truck.
Twisted Metal is produced by Anthony Mackie through his Make It With Gravy Productions and showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith along with Will Arnett and Marc Forman for Electric Avenue, Jason Spire for Inspire Entertainment, Peter Principato for Artists First, Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan of PlayStation Productions and Hermen Hulst, head of PlayStation Studios.
The series comes from Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
Bell Curda (pictured, left) most recently appeared in a recurring role as Sadie Yoo on The CW's Walker and previously starred in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
Shaw (pictured, center) is best known as Michael Mercer in the final season of AMC's The Walking Dead and portrayed Corvus Glaive in the Marvel films Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. He also had television roles on CBS's Limitless and Blood & Treasure; and the History Channel miniseries Roots (2016).
Gilroy (pictured, right) has starred in Amazon Freevee's Jury Duty, Hulu's History of the World, Part II and Netflix's Glamorous.
