Second season Undercover is on its way

It took some time, but things that are good usually require a bit of patience. Netflix has announced when they're going to release the second season of Undercover. The second season of Undercover will release on the streaming service on the 6th of September. Anna Drijver and Tom Waes will once more portray the lead characters, Kim de Rooij and Bob Lemmens. Bob still works for the police, but Kim is now part of a human rights organization.



The story in this season no longer revolves around drugs, but rather illegal arms trade and Bob will once again go undercover. Next to the release date, it has also been confirmed that there is also going to be a third season. MySeries already reported this last January.

The Belgian-Dutch series was a hit. Both Dutch and Belgian viewers binged the series a lot in the short time after it initially premiered on the 24th of February in 2019. The first season revolved around drug baron Ferry Bouman (Frank Lammers). Elisa Schaap, Raymond Thiry and Kevin Janssens were also part of the cast.

Rico Verhoeven, who is more easily recognized as a kickboxer, revealed via Instagram that he will portray a bodyguard in the second season.
