Syfy reveals more about new series Vagrant Queen

Syfy has released a trailer for Vagrant Queen, a new series that will start airing on the network in March.
Syfy has released a brand new trailer and other footage from the new Vagrant Queen series, which will consist of ten episodes. In addition, the network reports that the series will premiere on Friday, March 27.

Vagrant Queen is based on the comic book series from Vault Comics. The series follows Elida (Adriyan Rae, Light as a Feather) from a child's queen to an outcast orphan, while looking for the treacherous corners of the Milky Way and always being one step ahead of the government seeking to extinguish her bloodline. When her old friend Isaac (Tim Rozon, Diggstown) turns up and claims that Elida's mother is still alive, they start a rescue mission with their new ally Amae (Alex McGregor, Blood Drive), which brings Elida back to the dangerous heart of her former kingdom and a deadly childhood enemy, commander Lazaro (Paul du Toit, Black Sails).

Vagrant Queen is produced by Blue Ice Pictures and was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa. The series was created by a team of female writers and directors. Jem Garrard developed the series and serves as a showrunner and executive producer. Lance Samuels and Daniel Iron are also executive producers of the series, and F.J. DeSanto and Damian Wassel will serve as executive producers on behalf of Vault Comics.
