Warten auf'n Bus is a German comedy series which aired on ARD. The series premiered on April 15, 2020.
Johannes 'Hannes' (Ronald Zehrfeld) and his friend Ralf 'Ralle' (Felix Kramer), both early disabled, long-term unemployed and in their late forties, meet at a bus terminus to be and speak for themselves. The bus stop was their “gateway to the world, the damned interface between pampas and intelligent life” when the two friends were still going to work, into town or even on vacation. Sometimes they are also waiting for someone, for strangers who have sunk in the bus, or for the bus driver Kathrin (Jördis Triebel). Here at the end stop, she has a cigarette break. For Hannes and Ralle it is “the top league. Food for mortals ”. There is also the dog Maik, ugly and stupid, but always innocent and cheerful.
