Zeikwijven

Zeikwijven is a Dutch reality program which aired on NPO 3. The series premiered on October 7, 2021.

With 'Zeikwijven', KRO-NCRV highlights the differences between men and women in a surprising and original way, and in particular the consequences of these differences for women. With clear examples, 'Zeikwijven' gives the viewer a different perspective on issues in society, which are often aimed at men and which we too often take for granted. In 'Zeikwijven', for example, Shelley and Quinty discuss the fact that seat belts are rarely tested on female dummies and that CPR manikins are almost always male. The result is that women are injured more easily in accidents and are significantly less likely to be resuscitated on the street. In addition, women are often excluded from medical research into medicines. And moreover, a woman spends thousands of euros more in her life than a man, without her choosing to do so.
