Tough series for me. I've never watched those cartoon series and therefore don't know the main characters. But the series seems to assume that you know what preceded it. Who is Thrawn? Who is this Ezra? Who are Ahsoka and Wren anyway? It doesn't mean much to me. And because you don't really get to know them, it's difficult to sympathize with them. So far it all leaves me relatively unmoved. In itself it is fun SF and it is clear that the necessary care has been given to the series. But I find at least two light saber fights every episode a bit tiring. The story just drags on. I get the feeling that they could have made this series a bit shorter. The story is also quite cliché. First everything goes wrong and now our intrepid hero will probably make it all right again. I will continue to look, but not with huge expectations.
Looks slick. Really Star Wars from the first picture. But a lot of women, would that have become some kind of new species in the Universe? I'll keep watching, of course, because Star Wars is Star Wars and Ahsoka is One of a Kind.
Indeed a series that is more Star Wars because it fits the picture of the original films and recognizable. Other attempts at this do not always follow the script of the films or are not at all like them. More of this I would say.
It's official: Ahsoka season 2 is in development. Disney confirmed this news on January 9 along with the announcement that Jon Favreau will be making a new Star Wars film: The Mandalorian & Grogu.
