Also this series, like Quantico, should not have taken a break. The second part of this series is very weak. In my opinion it has become an easy cat and mouse game. For me, just like Quantico, no longer fascinating .. Too bad.

I think after the current season I will stop watching. It is getting a bit boring. The same goes for series like Taken and Designated Survivor. In my opinion it would be better if this type of series would have fewer episodes per season.

Neh, reasonable for those who like series like The Blacklist, etc. Blindspot is a very standard series with not exceptional acting and a fact that has already been done so often that you can almost predict the sequel. A-in-between-because-sometimes-that-is-also-nice-series. Nothing special to see here, People. Move along, move along.

I think it's a lot of nonsense. We are going to destroy the world or whatever or just take revenge but we first kidnap someone who no one knows, erase her memory and fill them "Prison Break wise" with tips so that the local hero of the story could stop us anyway. .. To please that hero we will only commit 1 act per week, otherwise he might get too busy and our plan could succeed ... It kind of reminds me of the awful (and happily drained) vehicle that Alcatraz was: Hundreds of people disappear at once from a prison from which no one can escape and reappear decades later, but one by one so that we can all intercept them peacefully. Honestly, there is so much better to see that I am not going to spend any more time on this.

Haha, CC! You are a man after my heart! Our opinion is quite similar about a number of series. I have also written a review about this series myself. I didn't think blind spot was necessarily bad, rather moderate. It's simple television just like The Blacklist. Which can also be okay, though. God knows that we also want to relax every now and then. No matter how good series like Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Deadwood, etc. are, sometimes you want to watch something lighter. And this type of series fulfills that function. If you can put television in perspective, it will of course also become clear that this is not a high flyer.

You know, I don't mind if an unexpected character or something else pops up in a series to give the story a new turn or just steer the story in the right direction. But it has to remain a bit credible depending on the genre unless it concerns science fiction where of course there are more possibilities. But when in the first episode, as is the case here with Blindspot, a woman is found with hundreds of tattoos, each of which could have a meaning, and the CSI on duty says in episode 2: This (however small) jumped into the eye and look we have been able to decipher it: it is a name of a man. That man will be involved in an attack exactly today in our story ... Coincidence OK, but so much coincidence is just a little too far for me. I'll bet that next week (when I don't check it out) another tattoo will be deciphered and our hero on duty will have less than 45 minutes to prevent another catastrophe.

Hahaha, I totally get you. It is a completely unbelievable series. I can still see through an unbelievable concept (it remains television, of course) but these kinds of series quickly make it too much. And the annoying thing about Blindspot is that there are no interesting people on the screen to lift the level. That make you forget the other mediocre things. The same goes for The Blacklist. I don't mind watching and sometimes even watch my lady. But that is also a series that is totally absurd and unbelievable and James Spader (despite being the only reason to watch) alone is not enough to cover up the many mediocre things and mediocre script. Everything in this type of series is based on coincidences, improbability, incompetence of characters and having to turn a blind eye to enjoy it.

You shouldn't watch this kind of series for the story, but for the action and (too) beautiful people in the series. As soon as that starts to disappoint, it is no more than a 13 in a dozen series.

That's right, Inartie. I broadly agree with you. But is the action in, for example, The Blacklist and Blindspot performed so brilliantly or skillfully that it makes you forget the mediocre storylines? That is more the question. I personally don't think so. Well for a light snack, but no more than that. These kinds of series are therefore never worth more than between 6 and 7 to me.

I can't say much about Blindspot yet, I have yet to watch the 2nd episode, but I think the Blacklist is a nice series to watch. Enough action and James Spader. Moreover, it is not easy to quit after 2 seasons. It's just a shame that such series are on NBC. Or ABC, CBS, etc., the season has 22, 23 episodes and there are many fill-ups in between. 10 to 13 episodes is a better number for a series. But luckily we have HBO, Starz, FX, AMC for that

Fully agree with this, I think this series is disappointing. I really have to struggle through the episodes and I think the person who plays Kurt Heller is acting really bad. Story and the protagonists do not come across to me at all and just what is said above, it is a kind of Prison Break with a different "solution" every week. In the meantime we are in episode 3 and I can no longer count on my fingers how many times the lady in question has shouted: "we have to get him / her because this is the only person who can know who I am". Just read that this series will have a full season, I didn't have to.

We have also stopped. There is too much wrong with this series and it looks too much like The Blacklist, only a tattoo every week and not a number. And The Blacklist is so much better, in terms of action and story and actors and they have James Spader. Looking pathetic all the time full of tattoos you get tired of that at some point. It did not fascinate enough in terms of story and characters. The actors aren't that good either. ON to the next series.

If you follow the series longer, the fork turns out to be very different: there is no question of someone who wants to destroy the world and then warns us with complicated tattoos. These turn out to be put by the lady herself, accompanied by a lot of mystery about the origin, whereby more is slowly revealed about the main character. Interesting indeed.

Another very strong first episode of season 2. Immediately disappointed that I did not wait for all episodes to be released. Because the wait is painful haha

Is that just me or is the acting talent of Sullivan Stapleton cringing? Talk about overacting. I notice that I have gradually had enough of the man ...

No, it is not your fault. He's just not a good actor. Can only play one type and he does not even convincingly. In Strike Back he got away with it, because that series mainly had to rely on the action.
