What a dramatically bad last 2 episodes. I don't know what the writers were up to, but the ending really doesn't make any sense. Too bad that a good series ends so badly ...

Just put me through family dramas all day long. Arvingerne, Shameless, Olive Kitteridge, it's blown feast. Surely there is nothing better than seeing that they are at least as devastated at the neighbors as at your home? I think so. It was therefore with ovational applause, bells and a pendulum here and there that the new child of Netflix was welcomed in the Gumstarr home. Family members who seek each other's life, painful secrets, intrigues. Yum, yum, yum! In short: Meet the Rayburns. Papa Rayburn is quite a gentleman on the cluster of islands just below Miami. To give that extra strength, the local high lords decided to name an oversized scaffolding after him. It should be drunk on that! The resort that Robert runs with his wife Sally is therefore swept empty and friends and family are invited to celebrate this memorable event in an appropriate way. Danny, the oldest member of the Rayburn family, also takes the bus to his parental home with a party animal and a good dose of his backpack. Danny is just the screw up of the family. You know. Bad friends, slightly addictive and somewhat narcissistic traits. We all have one in our family tree. His arrival therefore caused quite a stir in the Rayburn family. Old very presses his nose against the window and family ties are seriously tested. Netflix is working hard with its own productions and we like that. However? While with channels such as HBO, AMC and Showtime you now know roughly what you will get when they come up with something new, it sometimes seems like a bit of searching at Netflix. We can all nod in agreement and contentedly at House Of Cards, Lilyhammer and Orange Is The New Black, but Marco Polo was disappointing to say the least and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt a gross insult to our intelligence. Fortunately, as far as I'm concerned, Bloodline settles into the Tasty Wegkijkers category with childlike ease. It has that nice simmering pressure (I don't know if this is a word, but otherwise it should become one) that was also in True Detective, for example, only the whole thing is a bit more polished. Where True Detective, for example, did it with the worn-out head of Matthew McConaughey, in Bloodline we get the ideal son-in-law Kyle Chandler, who you may still know as the padre de familia in Friday Night Lights or as that guy who in Early Edition the newspaper of got a day earlier tomorrow. Kyle does say things like "Fuck you!" and “Goddamn!”, so things are going in the right direction. Bloodline leaves you hungry at the end of every episode. Hungry for more. So prepare yourself not to come out for a while once you get started. Ooooh. And that the ending feels a bit rushed, messy and frayed, but that's natural so they have something to explain in season two. I am already ready for that. Figuratively, of course, because I'm not going to sit here for a whole year.

A nice series where I became more and more curious about how things went. But what a bad last 2 episodes. So doesn't fit with the rest of the episodes. Vague and messy. I end up with a hangover. Unfortunately. Because I enjoyed the three seasons.

Despite all the warnings from my predecessors, I finished the series. It was a wonderful series, but those last 2 episodes really made no sense. In fact, the entire series is based on lies, not just a few, but a lot of them. I think because of all those lies it was simply impossible to come up with a believable ending. If you still want to see this series... don't be discouraged and go watch it, it's really worth it. Shit.. what a crappy ending...😕
