Boerke

Boerke is a Belgium animation series which aired on Canvas. The series premiered on March 29, 2021.

The charming anti-hero Boerke, recognizable by his big mustache, is sometimes a farmer or pirate and sometimes a knight or astronaut. But whatever role he plays, it always ends up wrong, to the delight of the viewer. Boerke's petty human shortcomings and weaknesses make him very recognizable, so that besides gloating we often have pity and sympathy for him.
