Chicago PD is een Amerikaanse politie-/dramaserie van de zender NBC. De serie ging in première op 8 januari 2014.
Een meeslepend politie-/dramaserie over de mannen en vrouwen van District 21 van de Chicago Police Department die alles op het spel zetten om hun gemeenschap te dienen en beschermen. Het district is opgedeeld in twee verschillende groepen: patrouillerende politie in uniform en de inlichtingendienst. De grote verantwoordelijkheden die dit werk met zich meebrengen reiken tot ver buiten de muren van het politiebureau en eisen vaak een emotionele tol van de persoonlijke levens van deze mannen en vrouwen.

Great pilot! Hard-hitting thriller, exciting, and also a cliffhanger. In the beginning it is a bit confusing because there are quite a few main characters, but once you are in it it is very exciting and can't wait for the next episode. I wasn't expecting much, but this looks like it's going to be a great series!

It has now been a year (!) After my previous response, and I still watch it because it remains fascinating! Especially because of the sometimes shared storyline with Chicago Fire (which I still watch for the same reason)

chicago pd likes me very much to stay because I think it is a nice series to watch. I know there are a lot of these kinds of series on TV, but this series continues to fascinate me also because of the actors, they play so well. episode has something that attracts you to watch the next one.

Chicago PD & Chicago Fire is broadcast by Fox, only Fox is well behind with CPD. Definitely a nice series.

Tried four episodes but it won't come in. It's certainly not bad but a bit 13 in a dozen. If you want to watch figures with a shiny badge and a smasher, do The Shield. Or Braquo. Or Southland. Or The Wire. Or Luther. Or Engrenages. Or something else, but not this. Or if you are stubborn. Your party.

Soon there will be another crossover with Chicago Fire & Law & Order SVU, but I don't know for which episode.

Chicago PD is nothing anymore without Lindsay (until season 4), Olinsky (until season 5) and Dawson (until season 6). Unfortunately, the uninteresting characters remain!

Just read on spotnet that they temporarily no longer translate this series into Dutch. So it may be that it will take weeks or maybe even longer before Dutch subtitles are available again. Hopefully they will translate and upload a few episodes right away. Really bummed.
