Piper Perabo is underrated as an actress. I think she is the female Tom Selleck, by which I mean that she is always good in her role/character, and also always has that sympathetic character that makes you empathize with what happens to her. Another plus of "Covert affairs" is the smooth, professional way in which the series is filmed, here are the very best cameramen at work. It flows, compare it with an episode of "Alias" for example, there it is all done much more clumsily. The side characters at the CIA are also good in their roles. For me "Covert affairs" is pure relaxation and fun to watch.

I have to say that the series is really slow to start. Only halfway through season 2 does it come loose with car explosion. Then the story gets better and more interesting. You just have to watch the first season. Could have left me, but alas. Have now arrived at season 4 and now find it a good and fun series.
